This is a vital aspect of the recording chain, the live area, the space you record in, must be flexible, comfortable, controlled and able to come up with the goods whatever project you are doing. Lumen's live room has a unique acoustic design, allowing our engineers to place microphones and sound sources in different areas of the room to achieve an incredible array of sounds. There's a very tight, deadened end of the room for that dry, punchy sound, and exposed walls elsewhere for a bit of room slap and space.
 
Acoustic tiles and traps are strategically placed, not just thrown anywhere for effect, and acoustic baffles can be deployed where needed for extra flexibility. Our engineers know what combinations and placements are required to turn your ideas into recorded material.
 
The room is also fully air conditioned using a special Ventaxia system that brings in air from outside, but not sound!
